The 090 had the button, so did the 5 Partner Pioneers that I had! 088 was an adequate oiler I thought.

084 had oiler button, never seem it on the 088/880's I have used.

My 088 oils fine.

Though these days it only comes out purely to stretch its legs a bit and for photos!

If an 880 or 088 stops oiling or not enough, it is often the oiler arm (the one that locates on the outer rim of the clutch drum) on the big nylon gear slipping around the gear.

Just for info....usually comes with the symptom of "lack of power".

Today’s pottering, a dividing wall with a bench one side and shelf the other. Just got to sand the boards down and clad the framework. Fingers crossed it’s strong enough for mums of all shapes and sizes

Can’t even buy the right screws at wickes, came home with a box of torx heads, thankfully had a bit to fit
