My friend gave me a Hexa chains for my Husqvarna 61 oh wow I’m newish and very impressed with the hexa chain, I normally use Stihl chains Picco, can definitely tell the difference in cutting and ringing.

Who here prefers hexa chains and what  chainsaw do you use with it on ?

i find the problem with all of these new fangeld chains is that they are all ok till you first file them . unless you spend out on there new file and re learn how to file a chain . or have them re ground by someone in the know.

I use Hexa on my MS441 with 25" bar and I can't fault it. Had just short of 2 chains from 1 file which is a bonus. As said prefers clean wood but, so does standard RS chain.

Generous friend, did they donate a file to sharpen it as well ? What size bar is it on ? It just about doubled the value of the saw.

No they didn’t give me a file so I bought 2 and a spare chain, the Hexa chain is on my husqvarna 61 with 20” bar
