On paper yes, 10%, pick one up though it feels much smaller and more manoeuvrable.

 

Same argument could apply to saying no point in the 400 just buy a 462, but they're different saws to use.

Id go 550 over the 261 every day .. but again the 241 is a great pencil sharpener for ground work , although if I wanted a really lightweight saw I think I’d get the 2511 with back handle.

Thank you for the comments,and yes I must confess I have a 261 and also a 181 too. But I still WANT a 241.as I often tell my good lady when being queried yet again on why I'm buying yet another  machine-I'm NOT wasting money-its an investment.

If you want a 45/50cc pro saw its got to be a Husqvarna 550 MK2 .
