Picked up a Peugeot Bipper this afternoon, 09 plate 75k on the clock, timing belt done 4k miles ago, full service history. I’m going to put a new clutch in it on Monday, it will come with 12 months ticket. £1750-£2k depending on what it needs, if anything, when it goes in for the MOT.

What a croc, the lass I’m kicking about with is an insurance broker, with her company, and many other insurance companies there is a 10-15% uplift for sign written vans. As for magnetic signs being for pikeys I don’t think I’ve ever read such nonsense, I can’t remember the last time I saw a traveller with magnetic signs, and I mix with quite a few. 
 

Some of us don’t have any option, well, we do but I wouldn’t get the subby work I get if my van was sign written.

I would need space for a baby seat so probably a need bulkhead away from fuels and fumes if it was a crew van.

 

I wouldn't sign write anything, was just joking about the florists

 

A lot of it comes down to personal requirements for sure but glad to have some other ideas

I used to run an old pickup. Changed it for a 17 Peugeot Partner.

 

The pickup was way more fun to drive and comfier, but the van gets 50mpg without trying, is clean air exempt (euro 6) and saves me £500-1000 every mot.

 

Kit is way more secure than when it was in the truck, and the fuel savings are literally covering the repayments. Its basically a free van.

 

The cab is a tardis too. Storage for days. I had i child seat for my daughter, seatbelt one as no isofix. She's in a booster seat now.

 

Mine is the 3 seat version. In hindsight id have gone for the 2 seater and taken the extra cab room. 3 people up front is a desperate measure.
