Mike Tyson v Jake Paul in a weeks time .  On the one hand Paul is young and fit but with little experience fighting the quality that once Mike had and maybe still does . On the other hand Mike is 58 FFS ! However I have seen him in recent training and he looks explosive like he used to be .  Big gloves ( 14oz ? ) and 2min rounds I believe . Something tells me it won't be an " exibition " match . Thoughts ...

Its all about the money big fella.

Jake Paul will have paid Mike to go easy and lose - Mike doesn’t care because who’s gonna say he’s shit? Plus he gets a massive payday. If it wasn’t rigged Mike would go all out for 2 mins and end it first round.

Course he won’t!

He would ruin his legacy if he loses.

Tyson’s age is the worry, 58 is old (as a 60 year old I know)

Power, stamina, speed are all down, doesn’t matter how much he trains, he can’t get those back.

JP is powerful, he may lack proper boxing technique, but he’s fit, big and……young.

What say you @Rich Rule?

60 is the new 40.

With all the current sports medicine available like Stem cells and Peptides etc, Mike Tyson isn’t your regular guy.

He has trained hard and his muscle memory from years of that type of training will have helped him get back in shape.

I’ve heard that there are contractual clauses saying that if Tyson wins in certain rounds it will reduce his purse.  I have also heard that Mike Tyson is gonna go for the knockout.

As for tarnishing his legacy.  That remains to be seen.

I hope Jake Paul gets kO’d.  He lost to Tommy Fury and he is an active boxer with a lot less calibre than MT.

I think we all want Tyson to properly spark him really early.

BUT we’ve all got this vision of a 20-year old Tyson.

He was a beast.

You quickly forget that he wasn’t particularly effective towards the end of his career, and that was over 20 years ago!

Time waits for no man.

I hope he still has enough of what he once had in spades to get the KO.

As Les says though, it’s all about the money, so who knows?

Well of course it’s about the money!

I predict Tyson losing, especially the longer it goes on.

You cannot beat Father Time.

If Mike is gonna win it will have to be in the first 4 or 5 rounds . ( 2min rounds ) I have seen him training and for 58 he looked explosive . However as you say Mick time is a killer ..

It puzzles me why this rapist gets the attention he does in this age of cancel culture.

He is a rapist, he did time for raping someone. No better than a kiddy fiddler in my book.

Haha his legacy - he doesn’t care about his legacy. The man spends most of his time out of his box on numerous podcasts pushing his new cannabis products. As I said it will go the distance as Jake will have paid him for it to do so, otherwise his strength and knowledge would spark Jake inside 2 minutes. It’s orchestrated heavily, like everything/fights in his life - Jake is a boxer he trains continuously but he also doesn’t fight (relevant)boxers because he would of folded out of the limelight along time ago. Even with age against him, Mike will see his right 10mins before he throws it!

Keep an eye out for this young lad, 91kg, around 14 stone of power, he’s a nephew of a friend of mine. Harley Fraser Fegan. Watched him fight recently, he’s got ‘it’.
