What Trousers you all wearing?

Arbortec Breatheflex Pro (Type A) very comfortable, well designed and good range of sizes available, a bit more than I would normally pay for trousers but they are well made/designed, best trousers I've ever had and worth the extra cost for professional user. Arbortec Breatheflex Pro Type A £241 plus vat, cheaper version Arbortec Breatheflex Type A £201 plus vat.

At the end of the day I think it comes down to fit. I had a pair of pfanners that lasted 6 years, and I absolutely hated every one of them. I’ve since been wearing husky tech extremes and breathflex pros, neither of which last as long but are so much nicer to wear I’m quite ok with that.

Yes it is definitely down to fit.  The fact I get the Pfanner a in long leg do it for me.

I would agree and it's worth paying extra to get correct fit. Both Pfanner and Arbortec do short leg (30" and 29.5") and Pfanner do a 35" but Arbortec longest 33" leg.  Arbortec do female design trouser too not sure if any others do. If you have a short leg forget Stihl trouser as shortest 31.5". Some of the cheap chainsaw trousers are too bulky and uncomfortable to wear and often don't last as long in my experience.

It's quite easy to get over paying £250 for something that is comfortable, if you wear them happily even for just a year it's peanuts really, under 1.50 for a days work?

 

I like my breatheflex pros, over a year in the current pair and the only little tear is on the bottom of the leg where the saw dangles.

I never understood why none of the manufacturers reinforced that rear hem/calf area of the trousers.
