Morning all.

It is, I can confirm, finally, the weekend!

Inevitably I'm in the wide awake club too but with nowhere to be and nothing much to do. Think that'll be the theme of the weekend, a quiet one.

Have a good one folks.

I’ll say one thing for January, it’s an honest month, no stupid themed holidays like Valentines, Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day or the like.

Back to work, 31 days, crap weather, short days, get on with it.

It’s my spirit month, I respect it’s dogged adherence to grimness.

I was thinking only yesterday how light it is at four now. And what a doddle of a winter it’s been generally. Chin up mate. Might never happen!

Beaters’ day today. Aiming for another free from injury or disfigurement. I think about your man in the gulley often.

Feel a bit beery, on account of three pints in the pub then a bottle of wine and a late, salad supper. Now lying in bed watching YouTube videos of the stupid idiots following the Sovereign Citizen ideals. Weather decent here but have a look at the Lyme Regis webcam of The Cobb! Could sit in the pub/cafe and watch that for a bit!

Good webcam action. Being next to the sea during a storm is one of the most exhilarating things to do I reckon.

Mind you they've had it a bit too rough in the left hand corner of the south coast these last couple of days. Storm surge plus high tides has been bad news down there.

Part of a historic pier washes away and a sea wall next to a railway line crumbles as Storm Ingrid lashes Devon and Cornwall.

Funny thing is I was right there at new year and the sea was like glass, never seen it so calm and flat.

Morning all.

Was blessed with a good sleep and feeling like the busy last week is in the past.

Think the cafe is calling for a breakfast today, my mate's back from an African adventure so be good to catch up with him.

Need to look at the iPad too as thoughts turn to tomorrow's plan, just me and two youngsters to keep busy for the day and neither of them old enough for fleet insurance which is a bit limiting but we'll find something to do.

Have a good one folks.

Morning Doug, tomorrow sounds like a day to utilise the youngsters back strength and energy!
I was up at 4am for changeover, wee one in sleeping much better through the night, she’s actually sleeping!🤔😂

going to take the chipper off the front of the mog as it’s off to fabricators to get barn doors made for the back,  she isnt getting used as a chip wagon these days so going to utilise her a bit more for shifting logs.

Feel rough most mornings at the moment 🫩 doesn't help my kids don't want to go to sleep, I am done and they are like Duracell bunnies.

Think I have my mojo back with my cycling so that is good.

Up and got to get the farm done and then a journey up to Weston super mare so the boys can play rugby against the hornets. Will spend more time in the car than on the pitch 🙄
