Nice of you to give us a mention, thanks. I think we normally get overlooked, it's all about Mother's Day normally!

My son is away at Cubs camp this weekend, but I know he's got me a card for when he comes back. Children's attempts to keep secrets can be so amusing.

I’ve been in a bad mood from a miserable earache since Friday afternoon and did not enjoy getting up early to marshall a classic car run. Did someone a favour though so worth the effort to keep the milk of human kindness flowing. Now waiting for a VW Tiguan to collect the paperwork from me, which he wants to hurry up with because I’m almost out of coffee.

Do you at least have some photos of nice old cars for our delectation?

Son reports that Bad Apple Racing have completed the Street Weekend 2025 in the borrowed Chevy. One of the way points was the North Lincs Air Musuem, he photographed a cabin from a Canberra and sent the ID to my Dad who flew it once in the mid 60's! Next call was Belvoir Castle then back to Pod last night. A couple of runs today and they completed! Well done all who entered and tried to finish despite various roadside breakdowns!

No chance. Too frantic noting time, participant number, failure to sound horn, poor road position and excess speed. And they were coming in groups. I should have left a camera running to help.
