Nicely revived thread John. Did you have access with a loader or did all that ivy have to be stripped off and the trunk rung up?

 

 

Unfortunately me and my team were subbing to another company so my roof mount was sat in the yard about an hour away. Luckily we had put a arb trolley in the truck in the morning so we moved the stem in 3ft lumps with the ivy attached into the back garden. There was a pretty big pile of ivy and rakings to be moved by the fellas blokes on Monday though
