With so many saws being nicked in bulk these days, I think Stihl should make a dummy 'stool pigeon saw' capable of housing a tracker inside. That would be the only way of retreving any saws or at least getting justice. I dont think its beyond the realms of possibility as some modern trackers can fit inside a match box.

Though saying that stihl would'nt give a hoot either way as they just want to sell saws, but insurance companies would.

Why un-box them? I don't get that.

 

And who is buying them? Real tree blokes wouldn't touch iffy saws, and the dids appear to have plenty already. Weekend warriors on Flea-Bay?

 

Feet first through a blunt wee chipper is too good for these parasites.
