Hi everyone 😊 It's time for another questionnaire.

This week We've been chatting about work life balance and would be interested to hear your answers.

It's anonymous, but if you want to add anything in the comments please do.

Hope you're all staying warm out there as the weather finally changes.

Thanks for joining in. Kate & Beccy 😊

Pretty much 6 to 7 days for me but I would very much like to work 1 or 2, who wouldn't? I don't see that happening any time soon though.

Difficult to say, I do work related stuff every day, even Sunday, sharpening, servicing etc.

But my yard/workshop is right here attached to the house so it’s easy.

On the other hand we finished at midday today so I could watch football.

Theres no clear line between work and not work for me, so can’t really vote.

Would like a bit more but I'm doing ok at the moment... only problem with 5-6-7 dayers for me is recovery... 3-4 hard jobs/days followed by something a bit more relaxed is more like my idea of a good time, and if you don't know what you are getting on a daily basis then you are by no means guaranteed that recovery time.

I think the ideal life/work balance should be 4 days a week-or maybe 4+a short Friday.

For probably 15 odd years, I've vowed this coming Year will be different and I will NO longer work on Saturdays, every Year I end up working on a Sat,usually because in spite of my best efforts, work can 'get ahead' of me.Also of course some seasons, you can easily lose a day a week due to inclement weather conditions.Even then,I tend to service stuff/catch up with paperwork on the rainy days so as not to feel so guilty about being off work,so not really a day off.

P.s.-I lied about the paperwork bit...😎

My wife requested I leave Wednesdays free for rest and family.

The kids have a half day so I'll do a quote and file a chain before fetching them from school.

Generally 4 days on the tools but quotes on Saturday and Sunday mornings now the evenings are too dark to see phone lines and lawn sausages.

I do need that midweek rest day, it really makes a difference to how I feel at the weekend.
