Literally just seen it this minute Mick.

Very sad, he was a big part of my life for over 40 years.

 

69, no age at all.

Every Sunday morning I’d be in the workshop, sharpening saws, changing blades etc. Just pottering really, Wrighty on the digital radio.

He had certain songs he’d play regularly that you’d never hear anywhere else, quirky ones like this.

I had no idea who sang it, I just Googled ‘Moses the cat song’

I’ve just spent 3 hours driving home listening to radio 2 and have cried several times - very sad, such a brilliant dj who in reality has been in my conscience forever. The best broadcaster ever as far as I’m concerned.
