My mill is on the way!

It's arrived!  Going to be 3 or 4 weeks before we get it into the workshop to build it, but it's not something that can be rushed/fitted in to an evening.

I've got to resist the temptation to open bits just for a look...

Luckily the manual came separately so I can look through that at least. 👌👌

Enjoy!

You'll definitely need that forklift/telehandler and a 2m sling and 2 shackles to get it set up😁

Take your time, make sure you've got an impact wrench there's a lot of bolts!

Andy at frontier couldn't be more helpfull of you have any queries.😎

Look forward to seeing it in action.

What contact do you use to get hold of someone for the Frontier Sawmills. I have tried the email on their UK site but it bounces back. Cheers.

We've got a forklift, slings, pull winches etc so no problems there👍

Between me and my mate that ill build it with we have 10 impact wrenches, which is possibly a  sign of some kind of illness😅😅😅 but means lots of bolts doesn't  worry us👍

I'm looking forward to it, saved a pallets worth of sycamore about 1.5meters long from the log pile this afternoon for practicing on.  At best they'll make some nice little boards, at worst I won't have messed up some decent wood learning the very basics👍👍

You get what you pay for really, I am certainly glad I stretched myseklf and went for the Logosol over a Woodlands, but equally if all I could have afforded at the time was the Woodlands Im sure I would have been initially happy

I keep my Logosol out in all weather 24/7 with no cover, not a spot of rust on it, I also demand a lot from my equipment and push them hard and its taken it all

I’m pretty impressed with the quality. I figured it was a good entry level model and if it goes well I won’t loose much on it to upgrade.
