I would move into London in a heartbeat if I could.

Everything on your doorstep and so much to do.

Its the place I could easily retire to if I had the money.

Crack on with that, I wouldn't have the place give to me.

I might try Penkridge for a few weeks, a few folk I know are pulled over there.

South Lakes. Dalton/Ulverston. Canny kind folk.

I did a stint in Ulverston about 30 years ago at the YMCA, (no pop group gags needed). Nice place, but I don't know if work would come easy.

Hebden Bridge? Going there in the morning though not my  up of tea

Horses for courses I guess. It’s my childhood home. Every time I visit family, I fall in love with the place. It is filled with a rum bunch though.

If you're not fussed about the sea, and looking for some rural peace and quiet I'd go for Herefordshire. I've been there today. Or other areas of the Welsh Marches or Mid-Wales.

I dunno Mark, I think I’d like it.

Humans are very adaptable.

But you chose France-shire didn't you?

I always say watch the feet if you want to know what someone thinks, much more reliable than listening to what they say.

It’s more of a theoretical exercise.
