I can't see Putin just letting Prigizhon get away with it and I think there's a good chance that he may just do something stupid on the extreme side of things as a show of strength.

All those Russian billionaires must be wanting there super yachts and condos back, so I can see outcome number 4 happening sooner rather than later.

So ,Whilst Ukraine are making slow but positive advances there is still a long way to go . One of their latest ploys is to build an $800 dummy air defense unit ( with a heat source and a radar detectable signature)  partially cover it with camo netting and the tree line . Wait for a Russian recon drone to spot it and the watch it be " destroyed " buy a multi million $ Russian missile ..... You godda love the Ukrainians .

Other reason for doing that is to reduce fire on the real targets.  Provide as many dummies as real targets and you can halve the incoming fire.  Also, as we did in WW2, to create confusion in the enemy as to where you might attack.  Put dummy forces in various places like you are massing for an attack to disguise where an attack might take place forcing them to spread the defensive forces out.

I don't know but as the tactic it is not new so you would have thought the Russians would be up to that sort of thing as well.
