A really useful quote from Zelensky, that is worth remembering is that if Russia decides to stop fighting, the war ends tomorrow. If Ukraine stops fighting, there will be no Ukraine.

This war, this invasion of Putin's is one where it is incredibly clear to anyone with a basically developed morality that Ukraine is fighting for it's survival and Russia is in the wrong. Seeking to justify the actions of Russia is unforgivable. Russia is seeking to exterminate the very notion of Ukraine and that is why the Ukrainians are fighting. We should continue to support them as it's a fight that is to our benefit as well.

Absolute BS, handing them millions upon millions to the tune of billions has achieved the zero sum of absolutely diddly squat.

I'll say it again, lend lease or you get absolutely nothing and he'll start negotiating knowing we aren't going to foot the bill for his incessant grand standing.

And don't even try to say it's to benefit us because it doesn't.

It will be interesting to see what trump comes back with now that zel has said that trump is being played by Russia with disinformation.

...by labeling Zelenskyy a dictator.

Absolute f*cking fruit loop.

Well, that's the US out of the game. Europe really needs to pull this one out of the bag now!

Trump wants Greenland and has not ruled out using force, he wants Canada to be another state of the USA, he wants to take control of the Panama canal. Don’t think he wants Mexico cos he’s dumping all the Mexicans he doesn’t want back into Mexico. The blokes a crackpot! He’s got a bedfellow in Putin and they both have grand ideas of world domination. Trump wants the best for America in every way and of course under that front he wants the best for Trump. Europe are cacking themselves as one wrong word and Trump will take them down in one way or another. Trumps front is he’s for the working man, this from someone who on more than one occasion went bust on several developments failing to pay hundreds of small contractors? Absolute shitester 😫 in every way. We should have let them go into Iraq and Afghanistan on their own. Europe will have to hope they can manage without the backing of the USA cos they’re about to ride into the sunset?

I didn't realise that defending what is right had a price cap.

Not everything is transactional, not everything is a zero sum game. Sometimes good people just have to stand up against bad people.

I think I feel the most pity for the poor Russian conscripts. At least the Ukranians know what it is they are fighting for. The Russians are fighting a needless war of aggression to fulfill Putin's imperialist fantasies of creating a Greater Russia again.

I'm quite surprised that he's not been the target of assassination attempts yet. Would all this end if Putin died or would something even worse take it's place?

"To go to war", only the Russians went to war, The Ukraine didn't go anywhere outside their borders, they were invaded and defended themselves - as any country would and do.

"MISSING" money - is that the 100 billion dollars that haven't reached The Ukraine... because they are being spent in the US... giving wages to US citizens to manufacture goods (arms and so on) to send there? That is well documented as accounted for

Approval rating, in 2019 (Before Covid which warped things) Trump had a disapproval rating of about 55%

Refuses to have elections.. I suspect that there is another reason why The Ukraine has not had elections last year when they were due

Millions being killed - best reports suggest about 60,000 Ukrainians have been killed so with Trumps Russia hotline they have lost at least 1,900,000 (millions is more than 1 million of course).. or that 'Millions' is not correct.

He's doubtless been the target of many assassination attempts already. Like any good crackpot dictator though he is hyper-paranoid about it so has escaped this far and as a control freak he's made damn sure no news of any such attempt has been published. Heaven forbid he were to show any human weakness.

Also, I suspect that the majority of the Russian people have no idea of the true scope of his horrendous deeds. Such is the scale of media control and propaganda. So maybe, there's not that many of his subjects within the country how actually want to kill him. It's a great shame for the Russian people, and the rest of us, that Putin was able to get to Navalny in the end.
