I wasn’t going to dignify that with much of a response Mark as I know you have a reasonable grasp of the history of Britain.

However, as a reminder these islands of ours have near 1700 years of a dominant Christian identity, culture and tradition (of which near 1300 was a universal Catholic Christianity).

This guiding Christian ethos is still with us today. Well, most of us anyway.

Ukraine has over a 1000 years of Christianity as the dominant religion.

In short. We have shared Christian values.

Proto Germanic heritage maybe, but times change, I don't think it matters two hoots anymore. Each to their own.

I didn't think I'd have to wheel this out twice:

Crap as usual citizen smith, what’s most definitely not christian is deliberately exploiting every opportunity to not pay tax and boasting about it, then spouting anti Tory bile at every opportunity.

It's 2022 and everyone is a Nazi.

Ukrainians are Nazis.

Russian are Nazis.

Canadian truckers are Nazis.

Canadian government are Nazis.

People who didn't get the vaccine are Nazis.

People who promote the vaccine are Nazis.

Conservatives are Nazis.

Liberals are Nazis.

Israelis are Nazis.

Palestinians are Nazis.

And so on, ad tedium.

The problem with being a Nazi today, is we all have a different definition of what Nazism is, and everyone denies being a Nazi, or denies their friends are Nazis.

It's like something out of Black Adder.

A bit like you and your IR35 exploits eh?

Or is that different somehow, because I don't think it is.

How%20religious%20are%20Britons.jpg?pw=1200

YOUGOV.CO.UK
A quarter of Britons say they believe in ‘a god’. Four in ten neither believe in ‘a god’ nor in a ‘higher power’

Around half (51.0%) of the population reported their religion as Christian in England and Wales, a decrease

of nearly 8.3 percentage points since the 2011 Census; No religion (including not stated), was the second

most common response, increasing just over 6.1 percentage points from 32.3% in 2011 to 38.4% in 2019.

Seems like there's barely any predominance nowadays in the UK as a whole. Looking at it on a more local scale though, I'm sure you'd find that there was, but it wouldn't be Christian.

Not at all Mark. The agency all 48 of us worked through is finally under investigation and sadly the client company has closed its doors due to a £4 million Hmrc debt, the result of a large scale investigation into the whole saga. The end result is not gonna  change much but that and the acknowledgment by the investigation team from the revenue that  we had no choice but to work this way is a small consolation. The fact that they have waived all penalties and interest is at least something.
