Correct price to fell 5 sycamores (London)

Question

We are in London.

We need to have five sycamores felled and the stumps ground.

They are in a relatively, but not crazily, narrow gap (about 10 ft) between the side of our house and a garden fence.

They are probably about 60ft tall.

They partially overhang the house's roof, and also overhang a fence and a shed.

All the wood needs to be taken away.

How much would be a reasonable price?

No ones going to be able to give you a sensible price without seeing it in person, but more info might help us get a bit nearer.

Photos? How close can a truck and chipper get to the trees?

I’ll assume you’ve had prices and didn’t like them much so want to see if they’re realistic.

I’d say a very well equipped firm, with enough lorry capacity would get that done in a day, depending on where you are in London £1500/2000 plus vat for the trees.

Stumps are difficult to judge as the seem tight up to fences or buildings so that would be hard to say.

Agreed.

I'll do it for 4000 per tree, or 50 quid the lot if you'll sell me the timber afterwards.

Is the correct answer. Obvs has had their pants pulled down before. K
