@MarkJ - I think my capitalist credentials are being questioned / usurped by Richie’s new best mate above....

😆 Damn straight, I call him Big R though as we're such good mates.

Seriously though, the point is that there's little point getting annoyed at companies, owned a lot by us, doing what they do. Its the system thats broken not the operators. A windfall tax today won't solve the issue, it will just defer it.

Of the jam I presume you mean....?

Its scone, then cream, then jam, then a 🍓 on top.

Anything else is illogical.

The proper Devon way then Kevin. Dont let the locals know you like your scones like that or you will be in for a  lynching!

Interested to hear what people think they might charge for logs, and if anyone wants to have ago at estimating what is worth in saved gas.... Not an easy calculation!

I only process logs for us but I'm a bit happier I pulled out the old oil boiler a few years back.

I'm just a bit worried the light fingered wood wombles will appear again as elec/oil/gas/wood prices rise.

The “Cornish way” makes no sense....

(I think this is true of many things that are subject to the “Cornish way” 😂)

Good idea in theory but maybe not so in practice. You wouldn't want to lose out so you'd have to double the thickness of jam and cream on both halves; you might then end up with more than a mouthful when you stick em together, scones are quick thick to start with. [emoji849]
