I have had a Dynamac DY41 for years now, made by Efco and sold by Machine Mart. Only thing with it is the oiler runs all the time unlike modern saws but the saw itself is faultless. They made Emak and Oleo saws as well.

There is a bloke on Ebay ( somewhere in Preston Lancs ) selling ex demo Efco saws . For example  - a current 51cc saw for £175 . The pics look like new but he does say ex demo .

That will be Andrew at Gt eccelstone garden machinery, he is only just down the road from me and i think they are just ex display saws not ex demo, i havent been in his shop for a bit now but last time i was in he was on Echo saws,

I'll be fair Steve I got a efco pro saw on trial a few years back ,think it was around 70cc I didn't like the ergonomics , power delivery at all but the smaller one I really enjoyed using.

Its down to how much you look after them at the end of the day - got a McCulloch blower and you will have to pry it from my cold dead  fingers, compared to the Sthil shite i would cheerfully lob over next doors fence. K
