My Uncle, Dave Barrowcliff,  wrestled a monkey winch onto the backseat of his two door a couple of times in the 70's when the works trucks were booked out! That must have been a struggle! The car came from Batchelor & Bowels in Loughborough - long since replaced by the Multi Storey!

First car mk1 escort Mexico bought it 1978 sold it 81 for £450 still get a tear run down my cheek when I think about it ,I was a mechanic at local ford's at time they were 2 a penny if only I a huge barn then and filled it with cars from that time period ££££££££

Ahh Mick now your talking,i had a black xr3,was my pride and joy for a few years,never should have sold it
