Extreme heat

Anyone else find that with sun lotion everything sticks to you and you end up looking camouflaged and then some of it washes away with sweat.yesterday drank 6L on the job and still had a headache , and Even a factor 50 didn’t fully protect .i can’t stand this heat

Get some non-comedogenic sun screen, Riemann stuff is good but expensive. Drink some isotonic sports drinks as your body is probably using all the salt up sweating and unable to absorb more water. 

 

Adding Dioralyte to the first aid kit is also a must. Heat exhaustion can become heat stroke in this weather pretty darn quick.

in southern europe sometimes over 40 cs, drink water, salt, sugar/honey, lemon.Dont touch isotonics as they are full of shit and dehidrate more then the opposite.

Use f50 uv longsleeves, not sunscreen.

I passed out twice on the canopy was not fun, but one learns to avoid it.
