Got a nice little freebie yesterday.

Customer was clearing the workshop belonging to her ageing father.

Gave me these unused ropes. The thicker blue one is at least 70 meters long.

Splice an eye in the end for a steel Krab and that’s some grade A natural crotch rigging rope.

Met this lovely pair on the way to site this morning. Both on the white line with cars barging past either side so I blocked the road and encouraged them to fly. Wish people were more considerate.

We had a pair of mutes on our pond for a couple of weeks until yesterday down in Sussex. I wonder if its the same pair. LOL! :thumbup1:

Might just be having a short break, If I see them again I'll ask!

Edit. Is there any point actually, asking a mute swan a question?

May well be mate. Yes please do ask if you see them again. I was hoping they might nest in the reeds down here. Would be a nice Spring treat to have some signets swimming around the pond. If they turn up back here I will let you know.
