Found a video of the turbine blade convoy passing through Hawick. Bit long but around 12mins it shows the blade being lowered for the straight after a roundabout, and the tip tickling a lampost!

Might be of interest to some.

@Mark Bolam same place as the pic you found.

And another showing the jackets passing through.

A still, cold and misty morning down by the river.

Beautiful big Beech with a TPO sitting beside a stretch of the Tweed belonging to the Duke's estate. Some concerns about it dropping stuff on the landed gentry, or their chariots parked nearby when fishing.

Took a good bit of deadwood off it, 2 of us climbed and 1 on the ground for an easy mornings work. Bonus as we left, did a quick extra and we each got a pack of pheasant sausages out the freezer. Shot on the estate, sausaged by the local butcher, and as I took them in my hand I was clapping the dog that retrieved them, lovely!

Rather nice oak tree to reduce probably the best climbing oak I've had in a long time and another 2 to go back to nice big swings and monkeying around.

Though I often why bother reducing them, I'd rather dead wood and thin, life of Freelance.
