How good are these wee chippers on hedge clippings and prunings?

Do you just need to be patient or do they need to be a bit more "woodier". To enable them to clear the chippings?

No problem with the Jo Beau range as long as the product is not fed as a 'bale'.

Thanks for your frank response. Could two people lift a cs100 i.e. to put it in a vehicle or trailer?

It's about 200kg! So not something you want to be lifting

I had one on demo. Very effective machine.

But regarding carrying it. It's bloody heavy. Took wheels off to get through house. Would not carry one again. Was god awful experience. Two of us carried it, but nearly hernia territory.

Hedge cuttings were ok. But as with anything like this,a bit of patience and application of the brain and it keeps chipping away.

Will buy one if job quoted for it comes in. It's on a island of a river, so boat will be used to transport across. Lifting it in should be fun, 300 plus kg lifted into a wobbly boat. Could be a wet one.

2 very strong people but not a pleasant experience!

They don't like dead stuff, pretty whacky on the fingers.

Ah, I see. Whacky on the fingers eh? Brings back painful memories of long days chipping Rhodies but that was whacky all over.

That would be worth a video.
