Hi R Mac, how do you manage loading it onto the trailer? I have a similar chipper on a small ifor p7e, can just about load it o my own.

I tie a rope to the ladder rack, run it through a snatch block fitted where the drawbar fits on the chipper and run the rope through it to another snatch block clipped to the Trailer, 2-1 mechanical advantage, I pull the rope and wife guides it up 2 scaffold planks.

Keep the blades sharp, carry spare belts and make sure you always have that tool to spin the drum incase it blocks up.

Sent from my SM-A500FU using Arbtalk mobile app

Cheers, I'll get that sorted, need to measure the belts and order a couple. What tool do you mean to spin the drum?

The choke operating rod should pass through a 'spring clip' , its worth checking that it's still passing through this as they have been known to come 'adrift'..!

If it's still in it's correct position then you may be able to bend the clip to put more resistance on the rod..?

If the clip has broken then they are readily available from Greenmech or a Briggs dealer and are relatively easy to fit.....:001_smile:
