Best Combi can.

Hey friends, i'm new here!

My current Mculloch Universal ( owned by Husqvarna )combi can has a sticky non spill spout and a cracked oil cap, so i need a new combi can.

 

I would of bought the Husqvarna combi can but it has the same spouts as the mculloch so it'll most likely have the same issues ( unless Husqvarna has fixed those spouts ?)

Assuming that the Husqvarna spouts are still crap, then there's really 2 options, either Stihl or Oregon.

 

Which one do you use and which one would you suggest?

We just swap-Ed over to sthil from husky as the husky ones have t lasted a year before leaking everywhere. Fingers crossed sthil ones are better

Another vote for Stihl, I have had mine for years.  I bought a cheaper one off ebay with no name as a back up and it tipped over and the neck of the fuel spout fractured and it leaks like a sieve.  I tried to "Weld" it with a soldering iron but no good.

I used a hot glue gun to glue an oil bottle on to my 2 stroke mix 5 litre plastic can. But I’m tight as fu+k!

The husky can is half price cos it’s crap. Will leak everywhere after 3 months. Absolute pish.
The stihl can will be leak free years later.
There’s been several threads on the subject over the years.
Buy once.

I must agree with him about the curious fitting on one side of the Stihl it’s purpose I could never fathom. I bought some non Stihl spouts which just stay on with their own caps.  I think the clear view of the contents is important but most important is the durability of the Stihl in arb conditions.
