Get a proper trailer, twin axle, and keep an eye on Blocket for "camper mover" or "camper trolley" (I think i know who you are and you're in Sweden?)

Little remote controlled tracked trailer movers, they crop up 2nd hand every now and then

I said this earlier, brilliant bit of kit. There's one on eBay ATM for £350.

@Dilz if you go down this route don't get one that goes on the jokey wheel, they're rubbish.

A reversing camera is a gamechanger. I've just this month fitted dashcams to all my vehicles. I don't bother wiring the reverse camera into the reverse light, you can press a button to cycle through views so when trying to hitch up set it to rear only and it displays the view whilst you aim and shunt if needed.

Should have done it years ago. I've been unhitching the trailer on my own in places I'd never dream of as it's so easy to get back on it.

Secret with twin or tri axle is to wind down the jockey wheel until there is only the back wheels touching the ground and then they are easy to manoeuvre... I move a huge tri axle by myself doing this.

This or what sometimes works better for me is to wind the jockeyw up, so the rear wheels are lifted. That way you have less weight on the tiny jw which helps manouvering on uneven terrain.

I take it that function is unusual in the dashcam; what make and model please?  Sounds brilliant.  My dashcam doesn't have it (I think!) and is unreliable - keeps freezing - so it's time for a new one.

Cheers.

It was 'Toguard' brand off eBay.

I agree with the guys telling you to get a reverse camera.

I have one thats identical to this one

Backkamera, digital

Attach the camera with a clip behind the license plate and wire it from the reverse light.

My trailer is about 950 kg empty and I have’nt moved it by hand once yet
