As an add on to this - we sold a 28" GB bar and x2 ripping chains to someone on ebay - he used them then e-mailed to say he didn't feel the 560XP should be driving a 28" bar and he wanted me to print a return postage label so he could return the bar and chains for a full refund.

I said no - he should not have used them if he felt too large for the saw. [if he had returned them unused we would have refunded].
He contacted ebay who upheld his case he had been sold defective goods even though there was positive feedback for the same item from other buyers who had bought for the same saw same purposes. Ebay auto refunded...

So he kept the bar and chains, got refunded and left negative feedback [i am not allowed to leave negative feedback for him]... and to add insult to injury I got this message today. Smug git!

Name and shame! If we all put him on the blocked buyer list it may save someone on here getting shafted by scum like this [emoji106]
or maybe someone local could go and collect the bars and chains off him [emoji57]

I like the collection idea.
He did get his money back.

Seeing as though he is unable to use the bar and chain keep a eye out for him listing them on eBay, use another eBay account and do the exact same thing to him. Make sure you send him a nice message once you have your bar, chains and refund back [emoji846]. He is probably doing it to everyone..

Not a bad idea, hope he isn't one of my customers as he could be an ex customer PDQ!

I will  ask and add.. 28” bar (yes .i know it’s 325]  on a 560 ripping wood seems a bit of an ask.when ripping compared to cross cutting ..and so much of an user error on top of all that..which us chainsaw millers know all about ?. Dull chain  and slow,,

it makes me wonder if the guy thought he was shopping at M&S and brought some pants that just about fit him. Then took them back and said they were not good because he'd not lost wieght but put it on.

I wonder if we should play a game....rob says a town/city and someone replies if they live there.?

Edit, and the buyers saw is apos so it hardly cross cuts let a lone rips wood ?

If he's within 50 miles of Huddersfield Rob, I'll go and collect the faulty goods for you mate.

Personally.

I'm sure there's a few others on here who would collect for you if it's elsewhere.
