Fixed with higher heat. Popping in seconds, way better results.

Not sure if it's the reason but butter bubbles and burns at a lower temperature than oil, I've only ever used oil.

Next batch I do I'm going to pop it in oil and then melt butter and toss in the pan off the heat.

I hope this doesn’t go down like an undercooked piece of fish……..

 

But I’ve fairly recently discovered the recipe's by a man called Scott Baptie. Nearly every single one I’ve made has been delicious, and also proving a hit with the particularly fussy Mrs. Worth having a look if like me you get stuck in a rut with your food and cooking.

 

Weve enjoyed his beef stifado tonight, very tasty even though I forgot the red wine 🤦🏼‍♂️

I'd like some wooden plates. I often eat off boards. Need a lathe. Need space for one first.
