I'm bang into flatbreads at the moment. Flour, salt, dash of olive oil, water. From start to putting them in a dry frying pan is about ninety seconds. Hot enough and they blister up lovely.

I'll have to give that a try as I have a tub of chilli hummus going out of date.

The pork puffs are ok, but not really on a par with the good old full fat pork scratchings. Though I do flinch a bit when they still have the hair on sometimes!

I lvoe pork scratchings as much as the next guy, but these are to delicious. Plus, I don't always feel like the full fat experience!

I'm not keen on the cheese ones, they taste just like quavers. But if thats your thing then go for it.

I'm a big fan of dead pig, in all its forms. It has to be the most versatile and most utilised of meat producing animals. As the old saying goes; "you can eat everything but the squeak"

Bastard shops were bastard shut after I walked up a hill to them with a spine right on the verge of packing a bag and taking the kids. Came home angry and lashed up this anaemic shakshuka bullshit with some super noodles I found on the floor.
 

I need to recruit a wife for domestic duties if I’m going to keep working late. I want a drink and my pipe pressed into my hand when I walk though the door and frankly I don’t care if she looks like John Fashanu at this stage.

Pot roast chicken thighs with sweet potato,  sweetcorn and kale in white wine.

Root vegetable and red pepper cheese bake.
