Take them both, soak them in gravy, wrap them in a bun (or a barm, or a roll, or a bap, depending on where you are...), then dip the whole carbtastic monstrosity in flour, then eggwash, then breadcrumbs, and deep fry until golden.

Why did my dumpling mix stick to my hands this time? Last time I did them, I was surprised and thrilled that when the mix came on cam, my hands ended up clean. Lard, self raising flour, drop of cold water at the end. 
 

Useless photo because so I didn’t slime up my phone in vain.

I've made good ones without it before. A vegan girlfriend made good ones now I think about it. **************** knows what fat she used for them.
