Are you really that thick?

We have all collectively been complicit in ignoring how vile China really is. They are no better than Hitler. They put muslims in concentration camps!!! And we just ignored it because we got half decent stuff for peanuts. And now we are getting what we deserve. Wether this virus is deliberate or accidental, its down to the way the filthy Chinese live.

IMO, it time to freeze them out, don't finance their appalling system.

what about the ten thousand dead in italy alone!!!??? is that all down to the way the filthy Italians live!

i think the blame game is a road to nowhere and face the fact this virus is calling the shots the world over.

self preservation , social distancing, isolation and care for the vunerable is the way forward not racist generalizations imo.

Whilst the derogatory yet reactionary use of language for an entire nation is wrong surely you can see measures against the country need put in place til the country as a whole seriously improves things from within? Sanctions should really be put in place but thats never gonna happen for a number of reasons. So the only thing we can do as individuals is stop buying their products. But it will be a token gesture, nothing more.

Andy don’t waste your time and energy with this guy..best left alone now.

Our oriental friends may well be even more evil than us, but that doesn't mean they only make half decent products. Jasic welders are on a par with euro and american premium brands.

Your friends maybe but not mine.

Absolutely. It's fairly indisputable that there have been massive abuses there for years. And as skyhuck said we in the west have collectively turned a blind eye as they're such a massive manufacturer, further perpetuating the issues. Broadly speaking I agree with all of this.

My issue, as you say, is with the use of derogatory language towards a country whose people have suffered severely from the current pandemic. I understand that these are strange and frightening times for many but allowing that to turn into something closer to hate speech is incredibly distasteful.

Not at all, they are victims, blaming them would be like blaming those who consume the food for their food poisoning, rather than blaming the chef.

Well I can understand your objections to China, but you can't dismiss everything they've contributed to the modern world. I don't know the details but I expect many of them have made important contributions to medicine, science, maths, even porn

Listen for all the dogooders and human rites activists I agree that China has given a lot in technology etc...but there culture in the way they live and eat has brought the whole world to its knees and no one can tell me any different...so mr squirrel you can keep spouting your pro Chinese shit to anyone else who wants to listen but I would argue many more won’t want to here your invalid points.you should have stayed there if it was so great and not bothered coming back here.
