562xp starting issue

I have looked into the above but can't find any definite way of resolving.

I recently bought a second hand, clean and low hours 562xp. First few occasions use it started fine, and now I will find that tomorrow am it might start, it may not - or it might start first thing, and then not again later in the day. Completely random, will not even pop on choke, let alone tick over. Any ideas please, trying to establish if this is a common fault

As with all the auto tune saws any reduction in compression greatly effects the running, especially the idle, and starting, the orange frame air filter has done the saws no favors, they may look clean but can be partially blocked which again effects the starting, very aggressive fuel also hardens the the metering diaphragms, which in turn effects the running, the 560 and 562 machines seem to run trouble free now days, so there will be something amiss with this machine, a software update would not hurt, other simple things like fuel tank breather and fuel filter replacement wouldn't hurt, i have seen a few ignition coil issues , but i do not replace them until i have done all the usual checks, i have also seen the earth wire from the coil come loose, this can also give all sorts of problems.

We’ve had issues with some saws - a dealer plug in/software update has helped in the past.

Does it record the hours like the 560 telling you how many hours on tick over and flat out ? It looks like a trip to a dealer with software capabilities to find out, no good guessing unless you know its history for definite

560 and 562 are essentially the same saws, just a different sprocket and air filter.

And bar studs. Don't say that too fast ? There's a lot of 560 bashing, however I have one a 2014 model, with a 562 top cover and air filter, the muffler has been opened up a bit by @spudulike and it has been absolutely faultless. The only non wearing parts I have replaced have been a couple of clutch springs. Not bad in 6 years.
