Nice bit of Elm I went to look at today. In a field 15 minutes from me. Should be striking a deal with the Farmer tomorrow. Looking forward to Milling it up. About 38" Wide and 94" Long, not massive but really clean and no rot or shake, some nice figuring and maybe a little burr will show up? Should be back to it next week.

That Flashlight is 8.25" long. I know this as I used my boaby as a guide. 2 boaby lengths. :D

Lots of burring by the looks of it.  Might even make up for the barbed wire inclusions!

Look's a nice bit of timber.

I've just opened up an email that came in last night, someone has dropped a couple of elms on their land, wanting to know if I'm interested in buying them, if I can find someone to drive me out there I'll get a look at them next week.

Do you not have a driving licence?
