I need a bucket for my Worky Quad.

Avant buckets seem a fair bit cheaper and much more readily available.

The headstocks are meant to be compatible, but if I get an Avant bucket will it fit straight on?

I use this company. Seem to be the people who supply most of the bits for spectrum

And sitting down can be the problem drivers tend to get a sticky bum and stay in the seat when they should get out and clear or load by hand, also working in the rain or snow is far more comfortable standing up, the view of the tool is much better and they turn in there own length, with no loss of lift capacity on turning for small areas stand on skidsteer is the way to go, as for wheels or tracks

But we don’t do repeated cycles no one spends all day loading as like quarry or yard, I have both on a bit of rough ground standing is infinitely more comfortable. And standing for me is far more productive especially when I’m paying wages

The above points I've found to be very true indeed. As for those wondering how the mini loader can pay its way- see below. This is the second half of a two day job with two men and one loader. The two trees were removed on the first day, the stumps and soil on the second. This job was quoted at a fair market rate allowing for access. After paying my man and the job costs (grab lorry, a bit of diesel), I made £2200 plus VAT. That's £1100 per day for my skills in seeing how the job could be done efficiently- but it simply wouldn't have worked without the loader. One job like that a year and who cares if you only use it once a month?

I'm up to 200 hours on my Sherpa, having had it 14 months. So averaging around 14 hours of use per month. At £260 a month finance (i've done it over five years) it's cost me £3640 so far. Much cheaper than labour.

What width is that bucket mate?

My WQ is 900 wide with the larger tyres, so was thinking it made sense to keep the bucket the same, or slightly less than the overall width of the machine.

Thats the 'high capacity' 760mm wide bucket- same capacity as the normal 118cm one. For use when you have narrow access/skinny tyres, but also useful on jobs with a tight corner to swing around.

Here is the normal 118 cm bucket on a tight right angle bend before I bought the 76cm one. You can imagine how much easier loosing some width off the bucket makes it.

Of course, with a 76cm bucket and wider width wheelbase, you can't scrap against edges any more. You need both mate 🤣

Had to get all the mini Fleet out earlier,  looking good in the sun. Hardly ever all together- dumper has just come back from 3 weeks hire, going out again tomorrow, micro digger has been in and out loads recently and the muck truck has been busy with my Dad.

The Giant has been keeping things tidy round the yard, helping me out with things like taking the chip box on and off, testing the auger and making light work of a big Ash fell- 4 ibcs worth of split logs came out of that tree👌👌

Got a job coming up with some hefty oak gate posts, going to be so much easier  to auger the holes, fork the posts close to the holes and slide them in👍👍

Anyone else see this winch setup, on Facebook i think?

Looks very cool, I wonder how they're getting on with it.

My Giant has an Anderson plug on top, a Quadbike winch plugged into that will probably be the only winch mine will ever see 😆😆
