I was asking politley for proof,which you havent provided.

Ere!

 JRM has very correctly banned the use of mangled  Labour/Liberal/BBC-speak jargon, like "impact/impacted" instead of affect/affected and also the indiscriminate use of lazy adjectives like "very".

I do suppose he would also abhor the not uncommon use of such phrases as "hot temperatures" and  indeed, "babies" being used to describe the young of species other than humans, etc. etc.

Bring it on!

Surprised he didn't include catastrophe, financial meltdown and cliffedge too. Good to see him referring back to imperial measurements ?
