Rang an arbtalk member yesterday about a small job, it wasn't for him but he recommended another lad, (I'm not blaming the the fella I rang), fella agreed to meet me at 09.00 this morning, I sorted it with the client, guess what, he cancelled me late yesterday evening, guess who looks the Cnut?

Stuff happens, people let you down, sometimes you let people down, at least he called.

No big deal, just a bit of lawn damage, it’ll wait till next time, you phone the client tell them the truth and reschedule.

Sorry if that interferes with the latest gay sex thread!

Yes, things do happen, but don't let folk down. I'd be broke if I treated people in the same way.

Sometimes it’s unavoidable.

I have a standard reply when I have to cancel work because of weather/employee no show/ my illness or mechanical breakdown.

“The tree has waited a hundred years for us, it’ll wait a week longer”

Its a different story if peeps are without running water, roof is leaky or waste water is   In their garden.

Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
