3/8 chain 550 Mark 2

On my resent 550 Xp I run a 3/8 chain

 

Is there already a 3/8 sprocket for the new mark 2 550 xpg

 

Or is it the same sprocket they used.

 

Want too buy a new mark 2

Can’t imagine they have changed the clutch drum ...

Am not sure, but why would they change the rim sprocket, is it not a rim sprocket that you just need to change over, and of course your bar would need to be a 3/8 as well, so the sprocket that comes on the new 550 will only require a 3/8 rim, and am quite sure Husqvarna would not make a new saw that had a different rim, that would be one way not to sell a saw.

You will need a 3/8 " small spline " rim .

It's the same setup as the original 550

Oki , you know i am dutch so rim / sprocket i will put theold one on the new mark 2
The price in the uk is so cheap that i will buy it in the uk.

If you got the 3/8 conversion clutch drum for your 550 it would take a" large spline" rim as would fit a 372. The easiest way is just get a "small spline" 3/8 rim as Stubby said. A quick look at the IPL would show you just what you need …..
