Wet and windy but nothing out of the ordinary. The media make such a fuss about almost any weather these days it's a joke.

 

I bit of winds is a named storm

A cold high is now a "beast from the east"

Over 20C and we are "swealtering in Mediterranean conditions" 

 

One day we will get some proper bad weather and they won't have any hyperbole left to use.

Couldn’t agree more- just leads to disappointment time and time again.

 

should add- very bad weather gets me excited for some reason- as long as it’s bad enough that I can justify not having to work in it!

Strong southerly gusts (we usually get from south west) and very heavy showers.

managed to fell large side leaning pine I had been putting off for ages.

had winch line set up and strongest gusts came just as windguru.cz said they would.

yes i have been on the cabbage and collie as well and things a starting to move a bit now, will be at storm force by about half eight,,,,
