Middle age for me is a distant memory ( least I think its a memory ? ) I was shaving , with the old cut throat , around the old mans beard when I noticed that , perhaps my eyes have changed color slightly . They were always dark brown . They look like they are tinted with very dark green now . Any one else have this ?

Oh my word!! Me too!!

As a young man I had hazel eyes, the colour of a nice shiny conker, I was ginger or auburn hair as a boy/young man and people often commented on the fact my eyes and hair were the exact same colour.

Now as a man who will be 50 in October, my hair is mostly grey, but there is some dark brown on my head and some ginger  on my chin.

And these days my eyes are far greener than brown.

I'm 42 in a couple of weeks time. I've noticed that you get fat canny quickly when you age if you take your finger off the button. I went from usual 13.5 stone to 15.5 in a couple of months when I twatted me shoulder. Took us a while to start going back down.

It's when you go out clubbing but make sure you are home in time for Saturday Live with the Reverend Richard that you are really riding that wave.

Do you know, Saturday Live is pretty much the only R4 show that really gets on my nerves. It's too chaotic. I like Richard Coles, but I much prefer the weekday morning programming. Just me though - I do understand it's the appeal.
