fortunately the client is into guitars in a big way, so some will get sent to a luthier. The rest will go for furniture in the clients house. 👍

Hi Saul hows things ,I have some Black Limba if your client is into guitars its ment to be real tonal and ace for instruments I have 6x6 beams of it but can happily mill it into thin boards if wanted ,just thought I would mention it hope you are doing ok I also have a big Cherry Tree to mill as soon as I get round to it

Had a fairly large pine come down in the recent stormy weather. Gonna mill it up. 

 

Do you think it is worth milling the usual 10' lengths by 55-60mm boards? 

 

I might keep some for making larger pieces for 2x4's

 

Any thoughts? Obviously it is down to preference and use, just wondering what others might have done with pine on the milling front.
