very nice looking work. is that resin or varnish you are using on the surface? 😁

You can get this finish with Danish oil if you've sanded well and done the final coat of Danish Oil with a Green Scotchbrite.

Nice. I suppose there is always the old french polish (shellac) option too.

Nope, sanded to 80 grit only and finished with screwfix own brand clear decking oil.
