Spent the day feeding a woodmizer, great bit of kit. Boss has an LT15 but his pal brought an LT40 to help out. Pics aren't the same standard that this thread is used to unfortunately, it was a hectic day.

Grand Fir, Larch, WRC, Beech, Elm and of course metal.

I’ve only been milling for about 4-5 years and only hit metal for the first time this year.

Was milling a bit today myself. Or should I say re-sawing?

Customer wanted some 20mm slabs. So a quick pass through the saw. £6 a board foot plus £75 to re-saw.

They were double unlucky with metal in that log. After the mill found the big bit they tried cutting the end off and hit metal again with a 500i.

Milled some Larch for a guy today courtesy of recommendation from Andy 👍👍 cheers bud., What a cracking location, wasn’t even taking much notice of the milling in reality with surroundings like that. Had the chance to try out the little dewalt blower, absolutely cracking bit of kit for keeping things tidy and cleaning up at end of shift.
