Pishing wet day, decided on a bit of workshop tidying and organising.

Panther mills 80”
Panther mills 60”
And my old 48” chilaskan

Milled up some Katsura the other day. Not had any before quite pleased with the outcome. Most boards are 2.2m x2'' t and up to 27'' w. All sat in the kiln slowly baking.

No mate nor had i till a few weeks ago when my mate who is a head gardener for an estate said that they had one to fell due to disease. He said he will miss the nice sweet toffee candy smells it gives off this time of year. Google it Cercidiphyllum -japonicum
