Absolutely agree and in finicky trees my prices for pruning can be not far off price for removal. 

 

Far more skill and a delicate touch needed to prune than fell, IMO of course.

I dont like how they're glamourising tree surgery. 

 

£120 for 2 men for 2 hours is daylight robbery, and can anyone show me the flash tree cutter raking in 21 grand a year?

We have , in the past been asked to " take a bit off  here and there  " (when the customer really wants it gone ) coz he thinks it will be cheaper .
