Anyone else affected by this on here ?  This coming Sunday  I will become a prisoner in my village along with a lot of other people in the surrounding villages .  The lycra  brigade are taking over and all the roads will be closed all day .  There was no consultation just a leaflet put through the doors saying you will not be able to get in or out of the village . My 94  year old Dad has carers attend 4 times a day to make sure he takes his meds and cook his meals do his washing etc etc . What happens there ? Its a fuck up . Not thought through . Just doing it and bollox to the rest of you .

They’re getting worse round here as well mate with their mega meets and time trial bollocks on busy public roads.

Giving decent cyclists a bad name, they are becoming universally detested.

Must be the same all over.

Drives me mad all the organization we put into roadside jobs to minimize inconvenience to public then these arrogant marshals stick a beacon on their car and take over,Making things more dangerous a lot of the time.

Assuming the roads are public, you’ll get a one three-hundred-and-sixty-fifth rebate on your car tax. Also, I’m Elvis Presley’s new tour manager.
