Can you not use a couple of tapes/slings for foot holds, and steel cored flip line?

If your near Maldon,could do you a deal on me &mewp.

Thanks guys, but all done now, i managed to get a rope in two of them and did the others off the ladder and had a lanyard when near the top. thanks for your advice

Good man. If its a regular job, could you not look at a Ropeguide? Choke it on bare wood/stem and you can remove it from the ground. Handy bits of kit. Even if you only use it once a year.

easy peasy, for short duration

 

we sell some great feet from bratts ladders that are really good and stable, tie it in at the top and wear your harness

 

perfectly cosher and sensible way of doing it esp if a MEWP is not appropriate in th the cost/risk assessment
