Its the biggest Douglas fir in the world, ad about two and a half hours from where I live. Video from a road trip to see it and a couple other cool sites in the area. Its 25 mins so you need a bit of time to watch.

Can't wait to watch that.

I bet you were working out how you would drop it as well.

I do the same mentally, to some magnificent trees.

It's a disease!

Nice, worth 26 minutes of my time, admittedly Serbia v Switzerland is not too absorbing.

re. The cedar stump from long ago, reminded me of this photo I have on my wall.

Thanks for posting.

Cracking Reg, my favourite vid this year, and there’s been some strong competition from Pornhub.

Do you know if the Red Creek Fir has ever been climbed?

What a place.

I wanna ask you if you have a job , it looks lush ! Would love to fish that river!
I know around my way the clear fells are not replanted straight away because of pine weevil , it takes at least a couple of years to bring the population down after felling, felling for some reason brings out a boom in the population ,even with spraying and sticking more crap in to the environment after that time it is still hit n miss but they recon if planted In those first two years it would absolutely decimate replanting and make it a failure .... but then again yours is a different environment.
