Simples. Just get a bloke down the pub to do it, or wait for one of those ubiquitous cards to come thru the door...maybe you could get your 'magnolias and fruit trees thinned and sprayed' [emoji57]

Haha it's a bloody good thing you wouldn't make a claim! The first thing you'd be asked for would be you're qualifications!

Then would come the dawning realisation that not only have you damaged something/yourself through inability to do a job that "isn't that difficult", but you've also been paying for insurance that was never relevant in the first place!

What are you on about, I have Public liability insurance..  I've no idea what it covers but I'm sure it covers more than tree felling..

And don't you think your making something of an assumption?.   inability to do a job..   I ain't crashed a tree onto any car yet..

You'll get Mr Johnson up in arms. Whilst he claims back for his iPhone holder (IT equipment), Dog Guard, (security), child seat for the new motor, (HSE issue), everyone else is a proper tight bastard, (needs no explaining)!

A gardener with a rope........ proud of it.

And, Mr Bullman, how does one quote a job?...    climber for the day? groundie for the day..  everything else is all about the aggro of doin it, shifting it...

That prick who goes about pricing a grand then subbing it is the real villain if your asking me, wants flogging within the proverbial inch for taking the piss out of customers and his subcontractors..

He and people like him are the real reason people are wary of tree surgeons.  evertime I do a job they have to be remeasured I ain't gonna run off without moving the rubbish..

Why does he need flogging? He hasn’t done anything wrong, I don’t like his business model but at least he’s not pricing work cheap just to get it, fair play I say, he is exploiting idiots who do work for nothing like you and your rope, idiots that can’t do it, do it cheap and the spout about utter shite! That man is a good business man, not the fools working for crumbs.
